I bought this for our trip to Alaska, the weather was supposed to be under 30's and over 50's. I've been told not to buy down fill as it will rain and if it gets wet it won't work. This jacket was just perfect. I wore it almost daily over several layers of clothing to be able to take it off when needed. It was warm but very light and the zipped pockets were very convenient and easy to access. There were also inner pockets which were useful. The color looked great against the beautiful background and for the money this is a perfect buy. I bought the XL and it was big enough.
