I bought 3 of these - 2 temporopedic and orthopedic (eggshell mattress). I've had an orthopedist for many years and it's still holding up very well considering we've had 1-2 dogs that are very active and playful. I recently bought a Tempur-Pedic for a relative's house when we visit and it comes in so handy. I've fallen asleep on it several times myself and my dog loves it. So I bought another Tempur-Pedic for our house and my dog loves to sleep in it now. Orthopedics are mostly good for cooling off, but not for sleeping. My dog has very poor joints and is much more energetic and agile with the tempura pedic. We'll keep the orthopedics, maybe in our canteen or in the office, but if you have a dog with joint problems I highly recommend the Tempur pediatrics.
