These are the first headphones I've ever purchased that were truly worthwhile. When I listened to them again in 2022-2022, I realized they sounded like complete garbage. If you've tried alternatives, you won't find anything better than this. I had several hues to choose from (blue, black, and pink) and not a single one of them ever became soiled. Of course, my earbuds haven't held up this long. They lasted me a good year and a half of cycling (there are reasons for that), but I will say that most of these headphones wouldn't last through a month of roller skating. The ear will stop playing or the wire will snap. Because of the L-shaped plug, these have been preserved well and used for a longer period of time. When I finally gave up looking for these headphones, I switched to a different brand. But I will say this: a strategy like that has always interested me.
