Bought for my 5 year old. I haven't had any problems yet. Assembly was easy. Definitely needs sand or water in the base to make it more durable. There is also a sign attached to the size of the pole, definitely don't let your kids dip in! I could see something breaking with each additional weight. Also regular basketballs (smaller ones of course) cannot be used as the weight of the ball could break the goal or target. It comes with a rubber ball (and a pump) and this ball works great. So if you need a different ball, be sure to buy rubber beach balls or ball games from the store. My 5 year old son loves it and enjoys playing basketball like his older brothers (12 and 10) in the playground.
