I am so impressed with these hooks. We've installed them on the passenger headrests of Honda Odyssey, Toyota Rav-4 and Subaru Crosstrek. The Honda van's back seat has a rear seat grab handle that leaves the hook protruding a bit, but we've moved it and can still hang a purse, backpack, or reusable grocery bag on it. They're sturdy and can handle a lot of weight (I wasn't ambitious enough to weigh my wallet, but it's big and heavy). It keeps my purse upright, away from dirty feet and the passenger seat, so I don't have to carry it on the floor or in the back seat when I'm picking up friends. This is the passenger in the back seat.
