I have a 34 inch lg thunderbolt 2 curved monitor that is mounted very firmly to the wall in my office. I also use a Logitech 4k magnetic webcam (originally made for an XDR display with a USB port, which my monitor doesn't have - only a USB 3 port). Since this is a docking setup, I wanted the webcam to be connected to the monitor (and any laptop that was subsequently connected) and not to a specific laptop with a long cable as I have several different MacBook Pros in my office, which I connect. into this setup. So I used this to convert the USB to USB webcam cable to a USB to USB setup. Works perfectly. The product looks well made and fits the mesh snugly (no loose connections). Highly recommended.
