I wish more skincare/cosmetic companies would do this, but I've put a few in brackets below (lay/common names for their chemical counterparts): Water, Houttuynia Cordata Extract (5% - Core), Butylene Glycol, Glyceret-26, Glycerin, Centella Asiatica Extract (CICA, a plant with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory compounds), Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Water, Chamaecyparis Obtusa (Japanese Cypress) Water, Betula Platyphylla Japonica (Japanese Silver Birch) Juice, Allantoin (Scrub). ), 1,2-hexanediol, hydroxyacetophenone (synthetic antioxidant, skin conditioner, preservative), hexylene glycol (surfactant, skin moisturizer), polyglyceryl 10 laurate, polyglyceryl 10 myristate, malt extract, arginine (amino acid), dipotassium glycyrrhizate (licorice, anti-inflammatory) , disodium EDTA (chelating agent/preservative). This slightly yellow, otherwise clear, watery tonic has a mild earthy aroma that I believe is due to Houttuynia cordata extract and various herbal extracts. Houttuynia cordata is a flowering plant known to be a rich source of polyphenolic flavonoids (with antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties). It also has centella asiatica (CICA) and allantoin (moisture + mild exfoliation). Ideally, you don't want to mix allantoin with other AHAs and BHAs (exfoliants), but you should do your research and see what you use in your routines. You don't want to exfoliate too much, cause irritation or break the moisture barrier. It's not super moisturizing or drying. Very simple and clear, not disturbing. On my mature, sensitive, hyperemic combination skin, it has not caused any breakouts, rashes, spots or new breakouts. Can be used daily morning and evening; applied either by hand or with a cotton swab. I like the use and quality and am happy with the overall formula for the price. Soft enough to probably fit all users. But I urge those who use other scrubs and have sensitive skin to test this before mass use.
