We have only worn Falke socks for years and are always satisfied with them. I was able to test these slipper socks here for free. I wear shoe size 39 and therefore the size 39 of these socks is just right for me, it fits perfectly. As usual, the delivery arrives quickly and well packaged. The socks are packed in a plastic foil. In my opinion, this could also be more environmentally friendly (e.g. in a kraft paper bag or with just a normal paper sleeve). I think all manufacturers should think a little more environmentally friendly and act accordingly. You have to wash the socks anyway before you wear them for the first time. I always wash my wool socks by hand with my solid shampoo. This means they last for many years and, in my opinion, are environmentally friendly because you don't have to buy new ones as often. In general, wool socks do not smell at all, even after a long period of wear. The socks themselves are wonderfully cuddly and soft on the inside thanks to a terry-like fabric. Soft nubs are attached to the sole of the foot. How these hold up in the long run remains to be seen. Of course there is also a certain amount of plastic abrasion of these knobs over time; But if you buy normal slippers, the sole is usually made of synthetic. In addition, there is not much you can do as a consumer here, it is actually the manufacturer's job to think about these things. I also like the fact that these slipper socks are mainly made of new wool, because you always have a good foot climate, much better than with synthetic socks. I'm happy that I was able to test these socks, because it has once again been confirmed that our own brand of socks is simply of solid quality. I give it a full 5 stars and a buy recommendation. The next winter can come.
