The tips are wider than regular cotton swabs

The tips on these cotton swabs are way better than what I'm used to - they're designed to keep you from digging deeper into your ear when cleaning. what is good. But I also use tampons to remove excess eyeshadow and they are less accurate for that. I also use them to rub Listerine on my gums to help prevent plaque and bacteria. Their size makes them suitable for ear cleaning, but prevents more precise application for detailed work. That caveat aside, I think they're well made and a good buy.
