It relieves my hot flashes so I can sleep. Put it aside before you fall into deep sleep, otherwise you might wake up sweaty because of the material it's made of, which of course defeats its purpose. It works and cools even with a sheet over it, but if not removed in time it can still cause the material to sweat.
