I chose this to help with an old TV that can't switch inputs. I found out the price, why not? The postal packaging was really poor quality but when I saw the packaging of the product I understood why. It was fairly reliable and sturdy and was easy to pull out and use. This switch comes with a remote control, an IR sensor, a power adapter and a remote control. Set up was simple and straightforward. I was able to connect three devices to my Vizio TV via HDMI, so I could easily switch between them. I tested the switch manually with a single switch and it was able to toggle back and forth with no issues. It seems to have an auto-detect feature that only switches to the port that has something active and connected. If you don't have anything else plugged in and enabled, it won't switch to another port. The only thing I noticed is that the box gets very hot after a few hours of use. I have yet to test the switch with the remote but that will be the next step and I will update my review once I do. Everything will be at a price you can't go wrong. At this price I have no problem replacing the switch if it fails after half a year or a year. So I gave it five stars instead of three or four considering the price is nowhere near the same as any other device like this. Great addition to the family and I want to buy a second one.
