Healthy and balanced dry food from Nutrience but a little pricey

My dog is a 65lb English Bulldog/German Shepherd mix and suffers from allergies, particularly to food. He can also be a bit picky about his food, so finding the right mix can often be difficult. While he loves almost any treat, I always have reservations about trying new foods. Unfortunately, the vast majority of dog foods popular today contain terrible ingredients, not to mention the high prices. I'm always ready to try new foods, so here are my thoughts on Nutrience Original Adult Medium Breed Dog Food, 18 lbs, Chicken Meal with Brown Rice Recipe; Benefits + Good healthy selection of chicken, vegetables, fruit and supplements. + All ingredients are made in North America (USA and Canada), which gives me a little more confidence than products with ingredients from China. + The dog loved it and ate it quickly with no fuss + No corn, wheat, soy, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, glucosamine and chondroitin. + My dog had no more digestive problems after eating. all.- Limited availability in general stores. As far as I can tell, it's currently only sold in Canada and online. Expensive for an 18 pound bag. If you have larger or multiple dogs the price will be a bit high - Strong smell, good to tempt the dog but not as pleasant wherever you store the food - Grain free. My dog loved Nutrience Original Adult Medium Breed Dog Food, 18 lbs, Chicken Meal with Brown Rice Recipe. He was of course very excited when I came by with the bag (as he does with every new meal) and quickly took off the half cup I had mixed up in his bowl. His current food is Diamond Naturals Dry Adult Dog Food, 60+ Large Breed Chicken Formula, 40lb Bag, which he likes, but after introducing him to Nutrience seems to prefer it to the Diamond brand. I currently mix these two foods together until they run out. At this point I'll probably be completely transitioning to Nutrience Grain Free Dog Food, 18lbs, Saltwater Fish. Although the price is a bit high for a regular purchase, I think the savings will outweigh the cost of unnecessary vet visits due to allergies and infections caused by questionable ingredients in other products. If you're willing to pay a little more for your dog's food in hopes that he'll be happy and healthy, then you can give Nutrience Original Adult Medium Breed Dog Food, 18 lbs, Chicken Meal with Brown Rice Recipe.
