No real complaints about receiver and amp

This unit does what it says on the tin and does it well. For reference: I tested this device and Avantree Oasis Premium RX/TX. Visually they are exactly the same, and both sounded great through my amp's DAC. The reason I chose BlueDento is that it has a built-in DAC. It sounded slightly better than my amp's DAC. Plus, it just looks better overall. Aventry is not very pretty. BlueDento is generally designed as an audiophile product with both optical and analogue outputs. It's not much in that sense, but rather forward looking and stereo. If you need a BT transmitter I would say Avantree is for you. Please note that I use Tidal Hi-Fi and Masters from my oneplus 6t to get the full 48kHz/24bit LPCM sound. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because there is no button to change/delete bluetooth connections. To switch devices, you must turn off Bluetooth on the source or turn the device off and on again. Not so hot what's up. I can turn my amp on and off since I'm using it as a power source. Another reviewer recommended turning off the power by unplugging it from the back of the receiver due to weak hardware. I'd say it's a safe bet. I think this device is exactly the same as the AudioEngine BT receiver for only $90 less. I'm just guessing, but they look pretty much the same and have the same specs. I know AudioEngine products are made in China. I bet it's the same manufacturer. Either way, it's a good product and an easy upgrade.
