This giraffe t-shirt RUNS LARGE by at least a full size. My chest measurement is 44 so I ordered an XL based on the size chart listed. The shoulder seams are 2" down from top of my shoulders to give you some idea as to how large the shirt is. If you like a big lose shirt than great but if you want something more slimming/fitted order a size down. Also, I ordered the blue color and because it's a darker blue color it's hard to see the giraffe that is printed in black. This shirt is soft but over time and washes it gets small pills on it.
