Bought for an 11 year old to use on a lawn mower for winter plowing. After viewing it, he was impressed with how well it worked. The yellow lid covers the entire unit, looking like rain and snow won't get in and won't affect the internal electronics. The bottom magnets hold the light well due to its light weight, but I don't know if it can withstand up to 60+ winds (highway speed), but strong enough for home use. The on/off switch is sealed and should last for years. The battery holder is securely attached and is located in the center of the device behind the LEDs. The battery does not hang out, convenient attachment. The sequence of LEDs really looks like a rotating signal. Overall, this is a lightweight device with good magnet strength, good weather resistance, and a power button. I don't see anything to indicate that it will fail quickly. I will be giving it to our 11 year old boy with confidence that it will last for many years.
