I ordered a custom eXtremeRate case for my Switch here but decided to listen to the reviews and get a separate tool kit instead of the small screwdriver that came with the custom case and I'm pretty sure this is the solution that saved my switch's life. This turned what would have been mechanical malpractice into an annoying surgical procedure, allowing me to successfully replace my switch housing with no experience whatsoever, and my only victim was the L trigger button (which to my knowledge only cost 6 to replace it) .
