I finally painted the front door to our new cottage; However, in the meantime my husband rescued a dog who has to scratch at the door to get in/out and there was no way that pup would ruin my paint job. The remedy is the KEBE door scratch protection. This material is really thick and easy to apply with excellent adhesion. I had to put this on both the inside and outside of our door. I only wish this material was available in larger quantities and at a better price. I think this will hold up very well to my dog's scratches. For reference, my dog weighs 9 pounds. and I live in Florida so this material will be exposed to heat and moisture but not direct sun since my door is on a covered porch. We had to cut 6 inches from each end as the material had separated from the backing and would not give a good, permanent fit. The seller corrected and sent another to compensate for the loss of the goods. I will definitely be ordering this material again when I build the rear stem and paint the tailgate. This stuff is worth the price.
