If you can't shell out $600 for professional earphones, you should find ones that sound great and look great. For a drummer, noise cancellation (or as much as possible) is essential. I have learned to take better care of my hearing behind the installation. I like the way they looked in the first place. They really fit and feel more professional than most other IEMs. As far as sound quality goes, they're not bad for their price. I've had the opportunity to use a few of these and can't complain about the quality at this price point. However, I had to replace the rubber tips with foam tips. There is nothing more comfortable than that and I think it cancels out more outside noise. All in all a really great budget IEM kit.
