I purchased two of these so I could replace the batteries in two of my 2017 15-inch Core i7 MacBook Pro a1398 unit, one with the dual video cards. Although I’ve built hundreds of PCs, I’d never even opened the back of a MacBook. Short story, I did it; pretty easy. First one took me a little bit longer, second was like, 15-20 minutes. I took my time. Today, I ran the two MacBooks, both 5 hours straight. On the MacBook Pro w/Integrated Video Card, simple web use and kept the screen on at about 50% on the brightness slider. 52% battery left after 5 hours. On the other, my son installed and ran Final Cut Pro, and edited videos, to test it. The 2nd MacBook Pro has dual video cards. After 5 hours it was at 40%, which isn’t too bad, considering it was editing videos, testing encoding videos, and also outputting HDMI to the TV. So, all in all, I consider that a pretty good test. Good job!
