RELIABLE STAND BUT BEWARE OF THE HARDWARE

I bought these to use with the Neewer Chromakey Green/Blue 5x7 foldable backdrop (yes feel free to cut and paste the product name and post it on Revain find) so my child can use their creativity in ZOOM classes to prepare for a successful streaming career on Twitch and/or YouTube. I'll get down to business so you can get back to shopping. Can't beat the price. It's a solid stand, the metal has some weight and feels sturdy, and the feet have protective rubber caps for the drives so they don't scratch the floor. BUT I would be careful when tightening the screws on the telescopic rods. The plastic for the wing nuts looks cool and professional but they feel a bit cheap, for example if I press them too hard they come loose. Hmm, that might explain the lower price. In any case, I tighten them just enough to stay in place. The same with the clamp above. The plastic is light and the clamp screw looks a bit cheap too, so handle it with care. Last but not least, if you use it with a Neewer background like I did, the clamp *barely* matches the width of the background. Stripes, so you'll have to push and tilt it a bit to get a foothold there. The good news: once something is there, it stays. As I said, the plastic of the clip doesn't seem to be the best quality, so I try as much as possible not to disturb (like bend or twist) the background while it's attached to it. So here it is. . The stand serves its purpose and the price is reasonable. If the hardware were a bit more solid I would give 5 stars. But now I bet 4. Good luck.

Pros
  • COMPATIBILITY - This clamp stand is designed to support large reflectors, pop up backdrops, as a photo reflector stand or green screen pop up stand. Also standard mount for softbox, lights, umbrellas, lanterns etc.
Cons
  • Some bugs
