The texture of this product OR most other brands not sold in pharmacies! It's thinner, more gel-like, and absorbs instantly. I mix it with clindamycin gel and it makes a great duo. However, it has its disadvantages: it is expensive. It's 4 ounces at $40. It costs $10 an ounce. It's kinda cool. And I can really only use 10% strength in warm and humid weather. It's too strong in cold and dry weather, so I was never able to use the bottle before the expiration date. However, the shelf life is usually between 18 months and 2 years from date of purchase, so I can usually use at least half of it and the texture is too good to pass up.
