I can't tell you how much I love these containers. I'm a home baker who's always making something and I need containers for ingredients like slices until I can use them. I've put hot things in, put them in the dishwasher, frozen them. They call it! I've used and abused them and only had one breakage and that was a lip piece that came loose along with the lid. No big deal, they're plastic and to be honest I could probably keep using them. I go to farmers markets and pack all my samples in it and they keep it fresh and sealed. I love that I can add things like flathead cherry wine to them and they won't discolor or take on the taste or smell of whatever's in them. I keep a Guinness reduction in there and they never smell like that even if they've been in the fridge for a while. I'm obsessed with these things and can honestly say this has been my favorite purchase for a while. Love the fact that my set came in two sizes and I never really needed the extra option. I've never had any tips before so I haven't tested them for leaks but I can tell you they seal very well. In fact, it is sometimes difficult to remove the covers. I don't think it's a bad thing, it's just that they seal really well. I will continue to buy them when they wear out, but for now they are soldiers!
