This is the first cold season with my pup and I have bought and returned over 5 different jackets because they were too big and too short or too small and too short because they were cut. I have a lean 18 lb boston terrier that needs something 16 inches long and this vest fits her perfectly! I bought them 2x. Jackets/vests from the pet store would meet her length requirements, but I could put my hand in the jacket under her stomach, and what's the use of all that cold air? Somehow they hit the target when they're not also near their stomach. This vest covers her turtleneck, then covers her stomach to her hips and the top covers her butt. She's no longer shaking (she's really cold at this point) and doesn't mind putting it on and letting me zip it up. Others had velcro straps that came off when she moved. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
