Different brands I tried: Avia, Salomon, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Fila, Blah Blah Blah. Brand that fits: New Balance. This is probably my third pair so I have to learn from experience. What I like: They fit like a glove. I have two (previously) broken toes on my left foot. This gives me a lot of room in the toe box. They're good to go straight out of the box. No blisters on my 4 mile walk! They breath. The mesh keeps my feet cool (yes, even here in wet FLA). They dry quickly. They are well done. Colors make me happy when I walk. And finally the price was right! I will definitely switch straight to New Balance when they wear out.
