Full disclosure: I am the girl who hates shopping for clothes. Alas, the "back to your high school weight fairy" exists only in my dreams. Sigh. I bought this dress for a September wedding in Chicago where you never know if it will be sweltering or snowing. This checked the versatility box. I tried it on and actually smiled. Miracles do happen! Don't get me wrong, this is not a really high quality high end dress, but unless someone is looking really closely they won't know. The fabric drapes nicely and the cut for the armholes is awesome as it gathers a bit and is not showing your bra. I'm 5' 8" and it is not dragging the floor. You could get a belt to up the bling factor, if you wanted. I'm' very happy with this, especially for the price.
