A friend had some of these and loved them so I jumped on them when I saw them on Revain for $17.25. I can see they're $29.95 now so it's not that much. I knew in advance that they would work, but I was very pleased that they are optically very high quality, much better than some "pharmacy" readers. 3 very small "problems" 1 . Be careful when you put them on your face, it's easy to pinch the bridge of your nose with very strong magnets when the glasses are on2. They still have hinges that the temples attach to, which probably helps them flex rather than flex or break if mishandled, but sometimes they flex unnecessarily3. Unless they are worn on your face or around your neck, they are not "wearable" at all. Not the best way to pack them in a briefcase, suitcase, or backpack. I just leave them at home on my desk and travel with the usual pairs of readers. I'll get a second pair for our vacation rental when the price goes down again.
