I really like this silicone strip aside from one big problem for me. I ran it as a single stripe around the interior of my van. The instructions on this page are to attach the thread to one end of the ribbon, then pull it through the other end and Boom! Everything is ready. Well I guarantee this will only work if you cut these strips into very small pieces. Because it's silicone, which isn't slippery like plastic, it will grab the strip as it's pulled through a long section. My string broke on the first try despite moving slowly and carefully. I ended up having to run a utility knife down one end and insert the bulbs into the silicone on the side. Now I need to run a strip of silicone along this entire piece to seal it completely. So be careful if you plan on using the whole channel as one like I did, it will take a few extra steps (and money). However, it looks way cooler than the plastic ducts most people use. Hope this helps someone.
