If you need some light for sleeping then this is the light for you. How the dream book works great. If, like me, you want a little more light to get some visibility in a dark room, this product is useless. It's very dim even at max brightness and won't even adjust to that setting unless the room is dark (I actually have to put my thumb on the sensor to get a brighter setting at high brightness). At a low level, it looks like a glow-in-the-dark sticker. There is something to see, but nothing more. I have it in my bedroom next to the bedside table and even at the height I can't even see the glasses standing on this table. It's also quite large and blocks both plugs in the socket well.
