I just received my "40lb" weighted blanket and it weighed exactly 36lbs. What a disappointment. TONGDADA doesn't seem to care much about quality control. Just be aware that regardless of the weight of the blanket you buy, you're likely to lose a few pounds. What's particularly sad is that when you hold the blanket up to the light, the "glass beads" are more like loose sand, moving freely in each 6" x 6" stitched square. There is nothing holding it in place. If, over time, the thread separating the two sections breaks, there is nothing stopping the loose grain from leaking into the adjacent pocket. I'm the first to get excited about a product when I think it's exceptional. In the case of my TONGDADA 40# weighted blanket, this is mediocrity and misrepresentation at best.
