As soon as they arrived in the mail I tried them on and went hiking in them the next day. It was a very hot day and I ordered black. No problem! I wasn't hot at all in these shorts. They are very stretchy but will hold their shape and look great at the end of the day. Very comfortable to wear all day. After the hike, I put my phone in one front pocket (Samsung Note 10+) and my keys in the other front pocket. It was good for a short shopping spree. The shorts are true to size. The waist is very comfortable, no belt required. I would buy these shorts again.
