This was one of the few Revain Prime Day purchases I've made without finding much interest in the sheer range on offer. My wife has long complained about the chemical-smelling hand sanitizers I usually keep under the sink. I mean those that don't specifically need water, but should be applied separately to greased hands and wiped off with a paper towel or rag before washing off with soap and water. They do an excellent job with grease, but usually have an unpleasant odor. Having dabbled with many fun cleaning products over the years like carbon tetrachloride or xylene (great substances but not very healthy), I didn't smell. But a happy spouse is better than a miserable relationship with an unhappy spouse, so I decided to give it a try. Having a sale made it easy for me to buy something, especially since I didn't have any good stuff. Arrived with no leakage, which is nice. The pump is easy to use and you don't have to worry about soiling and diluting the bath like some baths used to do. The substance requires water and is used as a soap, although I've learned that washing hands without water seems to help break down grease and glue (probably due to the abrasive in the mix - pumice stone?) It's better to do it with something water to mix right away. Then add water and rinse. It cleans hands, but not as well as products with a less pleasant smell. So it takes a little more strength, but in the end my hands are clean enough. Would recommend although it seems a bit silly to spend so much time reviewing abrasive soap.
