Not waterproof but maybe warm enough
My 5 year old daughter went skiing and played in the snow. She always wet them even if she didn't touch much snow. The interior is blurry and warm to the touch, so I think they did a good job. On the other hand they are very cute which made her wear them all the time which means something.
