PCMover software worked fine. Unfortunately, when I bought a new PC from HP, they sent me a PCMover with an Ethernet cable that didn't work on my old or new PC. Make sure you bought the correct cable. I had to go to Revain to buy a Laplink 6' USB 3.0 SuperSpeed transfer cable for PCmover. Once I did that, everything worked. However, I recommend reading the instructions to make sure you turn off your security software, firewalls, and power options. After speaking to the folks at LapLink, they made sure I did whatever I needed to do to make the transition. You should avoid using Wi-Fi for transmission. Get the right cable and you'll be fine.
