The army would never use this
. We ordered these after my husband had an eye test and needed good glasses. He liked the style and the fit. After a few weeks the left stem broke off. My husband is now in his 70's and is very easygoing about his stuff. I was surprised that this is actually a piece of junk that costs $20. I'm sending it back, luckily at least it's easy and very nice to get rid of the junk and get my money back.
