Both lamps I ordered arrived damaged and one of them has an ill fitting handle that just looks cheap (i.e. it sits with a significant gap over the surface of the lamp - in contrast to other lanterns) . Both lamp bases were scratched/marked and one also has a clear dent on the edge of the lamp base. For a new product I was disappointed to buy something damaged. I'm ripped off my review because I love how long lasting these bulbs are and that's the main reason I bought them after a few weeks of shopping. Damage to products will not affect lamp performance. It just looks bad. let me explain. All components are made of metal, except for the ceramic body of the LED lamp and the lampshade. Love it! The base is heavy for the size of the lamp. I jokingly told people that I could use it as a weapon against intruders. That would be a heavy blow. The dimming button for the lamp is great. I used to have touch dimmable which was a headache. I like the grip so I have more control and not have to worry about the pillow touching the surface of my lamp and shining in my face at night. *ugh first world issues Two USB ports is practically AF! I can charge my phone and Bose speaker at the same time after a long hard day. Do you like me? Yes. Will I recommend you? Probably not Would I buy again - No.
