Review on Stretch 16 πŸ‘– 5 33 Calvin Klein Jeans by Jerry Chembola

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm not sure about this shirt.

Strange shirt. Maybe it's growing on me, but at the very beginning, because I'm a traditionalist when it comes to shirts, I don't like them. There are several good points. The shirt is made of a high-tech fabric that is stretchy and dirt-repellent. I really like these fabrics when they work. The material is 70% cotton, 26% nylon, and 4% spandex, which means it stretches, but it's mostly cotton, which I like too. And the fit is good. The sleeves aren't tight, thank goodness. You can wear a watch underneath and the sleeves are not so tight that you can't see your watch. Now for the things I'm not sure about - not really sure if I don't like it, but a question. First of all, I don't like an open bar. The placket is folded over and closed with a button seam. I don't like a non-sewn placket at all, and I didn't realize this shirt didn't have a placket with a seam judging by the product photos. Second, there is an odd stiffener at the top of the bar that I find useless. Finally, the collars are odd, with a flexible plastic sewn into the center of the collar fabric instead of the traditional fasteners, and with buttons and loops under the collar to keep the collar in place, which can't actually be buttoned up, If you. wear a tie again. However, the shirt with a tie looks nice and doesn't need collar buttons to look neat and tidy. In that case I will come back and change this review. But right now I'd rather have a more conventional shirt with regular legs and a regular button placket over the high-tech features.

Pros

Cons
  • Reverse print
