Not suitable and will cause overheating problems.

As you can see this is a regular cover for extra holes and the ones that are are too big. The material will likely shorten the lifespan of your iPad due to overheating. If you notice that one of the best lids either has honeycomb vents inside or is made out of hard plastic for better cooling.
