I had never heard of the ust brand before buying this tent and I usually stick with big brands when it comes to outdoor gear but I'm happy to say that this is a great tent. I have a 6 person tent and it really can fit six people comfortably (provided you don't mind familiarizing yourself with some of them). It's definitely bigger than most other six-person tents. The floor is about 87 square feet, which is more than most other six-person tents. And because the walls and doors are almost vertical when raised off the floor, the entire space can be used. The quality of nylon used in this tent is good and thick. The seams are firmly sewn. Haven't slept in this tent in the rain yet but I don't see any flaws in the design and I'm sure it will work fine in the rain. There is no separate base for this tent, but you can easily make one out of several. a tarp if you want to protect the floor on uneven ground. Good quality sticks. I see a slight difference in the accuracy of the fit and finish of the poles compared to those on my premium Kelty tent, but these poles are more than adequate and I'm not concerned about their function or durability. They are color coded to match the corresponding sleeves in the tent fabric. My wife and I needed about 20 minutes to set up the tent the first time. You can assemble this alone, but it's a lot easier with two people. Dismantling took about 10 minutes. The only difficulty is getting the poles out of the sleeves without pulling the segments apart, but that's true for almost any tent with curved sleeves. The tent folds surprisingly small for such a large tent and weighs around 14 pounds, which is pretty impressive indeed. I've looked at other six person tents and most weigh over 20 pounds. I am very happy with this tent and I would say it is worth the money if you are looking for a great camping tent with friends or family. This is a well made, well designed tent. Highly recommended!
