Like many other reviewers, I found that blistering was inevitable when this product was applied as directed. I'm not sure if this problem can be solved with some sort of "bubble-proof technology" as suggested by at least one other reviewer (maybe another glue, I don't know), but as it stands, this product is more or less useless. If Gaomon is listening, I would suggest a few things. Firstly, add at least 3 protectors to each pack. If you charge $20 per customer, I think you can afford to spend an extra 20 cents on plastics. Second, consider using a different adhesive chemistry. This product currently blisters too easily. In addition, it attracts dust too easily and cannot be separated from dirt with the usual methods of "cleaning the protective film" (x-acto knife lifting dust from the adhesive surface, sliding adhesive tape over the adhesive surface, etc.). ). Third, look at how automotive wraps are applied and consider designing your tablets with a similar approach. When applying 3M Automotive Film, the assembly technique begins with spraying a mixture of water, isopropyl alcohol, and dish soap onto the adhesive side. This allows for very flexible repositioning and makes it easier to move the bubbles towards the edges. Of course, the tablet has to be waterproof. Its worth it. Speaking of moving the bubbles to the edges, my final suggestion is that you should use a plastic squeegee, not a small piece of cardboard. The cardboard "mop" included in the kit is a joke. Besides the installation problems, I would like to mention one more thing: the surface of this product absorbs oil from the hands and becomes cloudy too quickly. Even if the damn thing had settled well, I wouldn't like the interface. ::: For my other Gaomon buyers, I wanted to share the approach I took after my Gaomon screen protector failed. I currently use a piece of clear plastic for laser printers (ie, laser printable plastic sheets regularly sold in photocopy and quick print shops for <$1). The piece I'm currently using (in the first hour of looking for another solution) is only 8.5 x 11. It's neatly glued in two places along the top and bottom edges and around the display bezel area. This obviously doesn't cover the entire screen real estate from side to side, but it does cover most of the surface I usually draw on. I'll find a solution that covers the entire display, most likely by cutting a piece from an 11x17 sheet of the same material, or laminating foil or something (if I can't find a laser foil of that size without buying a whole box of those here costs $20 at Revain). I'll definitely stick with the "tape on the edges" approach as it offers a clean, easy to remove (or upgrade) install, works well, has a very similar surface feel under the needle, and doesn't affect print feedback, etc Considering my priority is protecting the screen, I'm happy with this approach, especially as it gives my desk the aesthetic look of a traditional workshop - a bit rough around the edges, not focused on the incidental. I will say that surface flexibility is important to me, but the benefit of the Gaomon profile's "toothy" surface was outweighed by the downside that it tends to cloud when touched (e.g. from my palm while painting). Using the alternative approach I've described, I look for different textures for plastic sheeting as I make my way through print shops and art shops.
