These LEDs don't last long

I have bought them 3 times in 3 years. I will not buy again! I replaced my stock front position lights (corner turn signals) on my 2009 Tacoma with these. Yes, they are much brighter. Within a few months, however, they begin to flash sporadically and sometimes do not light up at all. Why not just use standard bulbs!?
