Review on πŸŽ’ Flight Laptop Backpack from eBags, Ideal for Professional Use by Erica Clay

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Universal bag - roomy.

I have had this bag for about a year now and have traveled with it several times so I feel ready to review it. What I like: It's very versatile. I used it for a week for work and play. It's easy to clean when it gets dirty, and after getting caught in a downpour while wearing it, it feels waterproof. (Neither my clothes nor the computer got wet) The size is great and with a few medium and small packing cubes you can pack for 3+ days. There are plenty of pockets to put things - and on 2 trips I couldn't take a cosmetic bag and wallet, just use the pockets. A separate compartment for a laptop is a definite plus. When I'm not carrying my laptop I use this compartment for hoodies/jackets etc. The backpack straps are well padded and easy to adjust. The bag slips easily under an airplane seat. including America's regional jets. (especially the window seat on one side). It fits a 15 inch laptop with extra space. You could even fit two if you had to use the document pouch. What I don't like: Some of the bags are unusable because they are too small or, depending on the load, can interfere with sliding under the seat. Lightning is loud, and there are a lot of them - probably too many. I was recently camping and had to get something out of my backpack in the middle of the night and I woke up my roommate with a zip zip zip. It was like opening a bag of cough drops in the middle of a library; there was no way to keep it a secret. The bag itself is heavy due to the quality of the fabric, which is good for durability but not for long-term carrying. I have traveled with and without my laptop with this bag and my neck/shoulder always hurts when I carry it. Overall I would recommend them. I still use it.
