I wanted to give four stars for two reasons: First, the fabric was a little disappointing. Judging by the photo, I was expecting a more unstructured, relaxed fabric. This fabric reminds me of Dickey's work pants, but lightweight if that makes sense. If I fold the bottom like shown on the model, it gets a little stiff. Secondly, having a hard time choosing between black and navy, I went for navy and found that it's not exactly navy but a dusty grey-blue. Wanting to avoid the hassle of swapping the black ones, I decided to keep them, wore them to the meeting and received LOTS of compliments. Overall, they look very cute and are comfortable to wear. I like it so much that I'm ordering another one in black, hence the 5 stars. As for sizing: I usually wear ML in dresses but I wanted a looser fit so I ordered XL.
