I run hot when I sleep. I've been referred to as "the inferno", "the space heater", and my personal favorite, "get away from me." I generally have a difficult night's sleep, and a weighted blanket was recommended to me by a friend in healthcare. I was immediately skeptical considering I have a box fan blowing its sweet breeze in my direction in all four seasons; 20lbs of weight on top of me would have to conjure a feeling of at least the 5th, or even 6th, layer of hades upon me.I was wrong. If you run hot but want to try a weighted blanket, this is the product for you. Perhaps in the horrors of dead, sticky summer I may have to go without, but the breathability and general lack of trapped heat surprised and pleased me something fierce.
