I wanted to like this table lamp for many reasons, but it wasn't good enough. What I liked about this particular light is that the mounting mechanism for your monitor doesn't have that bulky counterweight clip on the back like most other lights. I wanted this in part because my desktop monitor is not exactly centered on the back and therefore other desktop lights cannot be mounted on my monitor on the center. It's pretty annoying for me to watch, but it doesn't affect anything functionally. Unfortunately, this lamp also does not have the option of adjusting the brightness. I thought, that adjusting the brightness of the light is a normal function, but only the temperature/color of the light can be adjusted here. On the plus side, I personally find the light level bright enough to work on your desk, but the lack of range and customization is disappointing. The clip that hangs from the front of the monitor is also larger than my desktop frame, so it affects what I see on my screen. Not much, but noticeable. My other desktop lightbar doesn't have this problem. The touch buttons are a great feature and easy to use. It also reduces clutter when I have controls on a long cord that I have to hide out of sight, but its looks don't make up for the lack of functionality for my use. The panel is also directly opposite the screen, so the light reflects off the monitor and causes glare. What you don't want in a table lamp. This light comes back because it doesn't meet my needs.
