They sell these little cotton balls and I can't stand them! You hold about 5 cotton balls and then you fill up the bag with cotton balls. Also, they tend not to be very well made, many of them are plastic, harder to clean and not very pretty. I bought this for my bathroom and I love love love it! I would recommend it to anyone to use as an English biscuit jar or, like me, for a bath. It's beautiful, shiny and cleans well. This Godinger company does a lot of good, I have cash from them and other stuff and I have no regrets. i love it all I also keep a disposable tissue in my bathroom and it's perfect with some white tissues. We stopped using towels many years ago due to the health concerns of anyone using a towel that is no longer safe and I'm glad I got out of that little situation before this Covid struck. Try this or any of their great products, you won't regret it and they are very strong and resilient, no chipping or anything with this product. That's quality.
