I have had a set of these Sterlite bowls with blue lids for many years. Over time, the two smallest either broke or were lost. When I finally broke the largest one by tapping it too hard with the edge of a wooden spoon, I decided it was time to order a replacement. The new bowls are made of white plastic, not opaque like my originals, and gave off a slightly unpleasant chemical smell when opened. What really bothered me was that the eyelids are not blue like in the picture, but greenish turquoise. I know who cares about colors as long as they work, right? OK I know. The problem is not that I want to go through the trouble of sending them back, it is the unfortunate result of buying online and trusting the description.
