Doesn't flex at all making it difficult to reach under sink
If you need to make even the tiniest bend to get from the air gap to the drain (in this case taking out the trash), even the tiniest twist or Bending in that VERY thick line causes it to look. The drainage water cannot drain at the required rate and the backup is triggered.
