So I'll start with the pros: - cheaper than real leather but a few bucks more than comparable offers - has a more realistic leather pattern, than a competitor that has something like a polka dot basketball pattern, the wood embossing isn't too big - seems easy to clean - doesn't really slide on it under the weight of my laptop - unfolds fairly quickly - my Logitech wireless mouse seems to be happy on this surface. Now I have a real disadvantage in that the polyurethane sticks to my hands when I put them on it. I used a slick towel to protect the table from dirt and it obviously didn't stick. it does. probably not a problem when it gets cooler and I wear long sleeves, but now it's warm and humid and my forearms stick to it as I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt.
