This is NOT a 3" drain cap. It's actually a 2-3/4" or 2-13/16". I have a Gerber drain (big brand) and it requires a 2-15/16" or 3" cap. This does not fully cover the drain flange and leaves a thin brass ring around the chrome screen. I have returned the product but no credit for it Received return even though product is clearly marked as 3". This size is available at almost any hardware store or hardware store near you. will not work!
