Both oils are somewhat "dry " but decent base oils. Great for learning.
Both smell like a dry piece of real wood that has been in a dusty place. Desert. Sandalwood: A good base sandalwood with a slightly dusty/dry scent. After drying, it leaves a sweet version. Frankincense: Almost "pepper" can be felt after drying. I recently got into do-it-yourself colognes and mixed and experimented a lot. Sedbuwza has some fairly inexpensive versions to play with while learning, considering that essential oils and fragrance oils can get pretty expensive very quickly.
